Our youth can benefit from the wisdom and relationships built with parents and neighbors who are the stakeholders served by neighborhood schools. Many citizens in our community can enrich their lives by visiting children at their school. We believe becoming a school volunteer is a win win venture for all involved.
The coordinators of the BOWs (Beyond Our Walls) organization serve as event planners for parents and neighbors who are interested in supporting children at schools. This school year, BOWs Volunteers are dedicated to serving at Burns Elementary School on Wednesdays and Thursdays of each week starting October 5, 2011. BOWs volunteers will be on campus at various times and conduct scheduled activities. Some of the activities for volunteers will include:

*Participants at Scheduled Community Events
