The Second Annual
BUILDING A GRAD NATION SUMMIT
March 18 - 21, 2012
Washington, DC
The Summit will explore the issues surrounding improving the national high school graduation rate. The Grad Nation campaign calls on all Americans to get involved in the effort to improve graduation rates and ensure our young people are graduating ready for college and the 21st century.
The campaign has two specific goals:
- To increase the national graduation rate to 90 percent by 2020 with no school graduating less than 80 percent
- To regain America's standing as first in the world in colllege completion.

Every Wednesday & Thursday
1:00 - 2:30 PM
Parents and Neighbors can participate in free computer classes. The computers are available for new users and to those who are computer experts. Our principal, Ms. Smith and her staff, are excited about offering this service to parents and neighbors in the community.
Donate some of your time to serve as a School Volunteer at Burns. Time spent with children help to build a brighter future for our youth and our communities.
