Is The Message to Our School Children


It is my JOY and pleasure to have an opportunity to serve as Executive Director with BOWs - Beyond Our Walls, Inc. Our program participants are parents, neighbors, high school student leaders, faith and business partners who volunteer their services to build relationships with children attending public schools in the Tri-County Areas of South Carolina. This program began with a small group of citizens in Charleston County who accepted the challenge and joined the movement to set the stage to assure that the children in the Tri-County communities have the support to strive for academic excellence, achieve the "Charleston Plan for Excellence II" and receive the benefits of the five America's Promises. As we visit and participate in programs in the neighborhood, we will build relationships with parents, their children, staff at the neighborhood schools and staff at the neighborhood businesses. Visit our web site often to see the JOY and wonderful works that are in our neighborhoods and how people in the Lowcountry are excited about the helping to enhance the accomplishments of our school children and the success of their schools.
